Application
How is Bepanthol® Scar Gel applied?
Bepanthol® Scar Gel should only be applied once the wound has completely closed.
Apply Bepanthol Scar Gel twice daily (e.g., morning and evening). Bepanthol Scar Gel is suitable for adults and children.
Up to 1 month after wound closure:
Use only the scar gel. Apply the scar gel so that a thin film forms. Then let the gel dry for a few minutes.
From 1 month after wound closure:
Bepanthol Scar Gel is equipped with a massage roller. Gently massage the scar (with only light pressure) with the massage roller. Then apply the scar gel so that a thin film forms. Then let the gel dry for a few minutes.
Bepanthol® Scar Gel should be used for a period of at least two months.
Reapply the gel if you have bathed, showered, or engaged in extensive sports.
When should you not use Bepanthol® Scar Gel?
Do not apply to open wounds or mucous membranes. Do not apply near the eyes.
Do not use if you suffer from an allergy to any of the ingredients.
