Description
The Padawan – Pale Ale
No. First of all. The Padawan is not named after Star Wars. The name similarity is pure, though by no means unwelcome, coincidence. Padawan stands for "Pale Ale doing alright without a name" and was chosen as the beer name for a nameless Bierol Pale Ale in an online vote in 2014. Today, The Padawan is not only already a classic but also the No. 1 in the Core Range. And there's a reason for that: Because The Padawan is incredibly fruity, incredibly velvety, and has everything a Pale Ale needs: The right dose (and it's certainly not small) of high-quality hops, a fine, almost creamy mouthfeel, lean in its amber body, and a bit dry in the finish. But above all: Mango. In the nose, on the palate, and it lingers. Long. Really long. Zesty, fresh, lean, and with a clear bitterness. By no means just a summer beer. Everyone's favorite beer!
