The bacterium Akkermansia muciniphila lives in the mucous layer of the intestinal mucosa. Muciniphila means: the mucus-loving one. Although it accounts for up to 5% of the entire gut flora or gut microbiome, A. muciniphila has only recently been discovered. Since then, intensive research has been conducted on how A. muciniphila interacts with the intestinal mucosa.
Directions
Adults aged 18 and over swallow one tablet daily.
