For more than 300 years, ripe fruits, berries and roots have been distilled into clear spirits in the local Alps in order to "capture the essence of the natural orchards and refine them into the finest schnapps". The origin of this tradition lies in small distilleries, such as that of the Johann Hauser family in the Tyrolean Leukental. Generation after generation, the art of distilling has been passed on and the honest craftsmanship has been celebrated with passion for decades.
Inspired by the traditional customs and drinking cultures, a select variety of the best of nature is now produced in Lustenau, Vorarlberg, according to "Hauser Tradition", which is characterized by its mild and wholesome nature.
