Description
Posterisan akut provides fast and effective relief from pain and severe itching in the anal area. Pain and itching in the anal area can have very different causes, such as hemorrhoids or an anal eczema caused by irritating substances. Symptomatic therapy with local anesthetics (e.g. Posterisan akut ointment with lidocaine) can help to quickly suppress the urgent and unpleasant itching. In general, and especially if the itching persists or recurs frequently, the cause should be clarified and treated.
Application
The ointment is gently inserted into the anal canal or thinly applied to the skin and mucous membrane areas to be treated and gently rubbed in with a finger in the morning and evening and, if possible, before (approx. 30 min) and after bowel movements. The anti-itching effect sets in after a short time. Posterisan akut can also be used for pain before a proctological examination. 2-3 times daily Duration of use: maximum 3 days in self-treatment, longer use only after consultation with a doctor (if there is no improvement, consult a doctor)
Ingredients
1 gram of rectal ointment contains 5% lidocaine. Other ingredients are: cetyl alcohol, macrogols, purified water.
