• If you are allergic to methyl salicylate, turpentine oil, cayenne pepper extract or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.

• as a large-area long-term treatment in patients with a tendency to bleeding, stomach and intestinal ulcers, severe liver or kidney damage
.

Warnings and precautions.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before you use Apply Mayrhofer warming trauma ointment.

• For external use only. Do not ingest.
• Apply only to healthy skin, do not apply to mucous membranes, open wounds or in the eyes
.
• Due to the methyl salicylate content, caution is advised in patients with intolerance to analgesic medicines.
• Be careful with children suffering from flu, chicken pox or fever. Ask your doctor before use.
• The other ingredients cetylstearyl alcohol and wool wax alcohols may cause localised skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis)

Children and adolescents
Since there is insufficient data, the use in children under 6 years of age cannot be recommended.

Application of Trauma Ointment Warming Mayrhofer Take with other medicinesInform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or do not intend to take/use any other medicines.

In case of prolonged and extensive application of ointments containing salicylate, interactions with the following substances are possible:

• Medicines to thin the blood (increased risk of bleeding).
• Methotrexate, which is used in certain cancers and to treat certain forms of arthritis.
• Blood sugar reducers (too strong lowering of the blood sugar level).
• certain medicines for gout.
• Certain medicines for drainage.
• cortisone-free painkillers and rheumatism medicines.

Application of Trauma Ointment Warming Mayrhofer together with alcohol.
If alcohol is taken at the same time, the damaging effect on the mucous membrane of the stomach may be increased.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Recommended dose for adults, adolescents and children over 6 years:
For external use, apply ointment several times a day as a thin film and massage in.

Children under 6 years of age:
Due to insufficient data, use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended.

Type of application:
For application to the skin.
Apply to the painful areas of the body and massage in. Use only on healthy skin. Do not apply to mucous membranes, open wounds or in the eyes. Wash your hands well after rubbing in the ointment. Avoid large-area application.

Duration of use:

Burns for 6 months and 3 months after the tube or jar is first opened.

Do not dispose of medicines in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you stop using it. In doing so, they contribute to the protection of the environment.

  Methyl salicylate 5.0 g Turpentine oil (Terebinthinae aetheroleum e pino pinastro) 5.0 g Thick extract of cayenne pepper (Capsici fructus),
  Extractant ethanol 80% V/V, adjusted to 2.0-2.4% capsaicinoids 0.91 g
