Exclusive Viennese Indulgence: Liliput Konfekt by Altmann & Kühne
About Altmann & Kühne – Viennese Tradition Since 1928
.jpg)
Altmann & Kühne is a traditional Viennese confectionery institution located at Graben 30 in the heart of Vienna. Founded in 1928 by Emil Altmann and Ernst Kühne, the manufactory quickly rose to become the city's most exclusive chocolate maker. The legendary shop in the heart of Vienna was designed by, among others, Josef Hoffmann, one of the co-founders of the Wiener Werkstätte and a co-creator of the Secession. As early as the 1930s, this heritage house delighted figures such as the Duke of Windsor, Romy Schneider, and Hans Moser. To this day, Altmann & Kühne stands for exquisite craftsmanship, unmistakable Viennese flair, and the art of fine indulgence.
What is Liliput Konfekt?
Liliput Konfekt is the centerpiece and signature creation of Altmann & Kühne. These fine pralines in a nostalgic "dollhouse miniature format" owe their name to their tiny, exceptionally delicate size.
-
Handcrafted following original recipes: The pralines are still produced today according to strictly guarded original recipes.
-
100% natural: All creations are made entirely without artificial additives.
-
16 exquisite varieties: From the finest raspberry fondant and melt-in-the-mouth nougat to pistachio and coffee marzipan, as well as crunchy brittle and grillage specialties, each box offers a diverse taste journey.
The Perfect Harmony: Confectionery & Wiener Werkstätte

The distinctive charm of Altmann & Kühne lies in the unique blend of culinary art and design: The iconic boxes – affectionately referred to as "Naschkasterln" – are wrapped in historic patterns originally designed by the Wiener Werkstätte.
Whether in the shape of a miniature chest of drawers, a book-box, a hatbox, or a classic pull-out drawer box: each set is a complete work of art, lovingly filled by hand in Vienna's Leopoldstadt – a small piece of Viennese cultural history to give as a gift or enjoy for yourself.
