Clear as the pure breath of the mountain world, aromatic as the scent of the blooming alpine meadow and just as unique as the miracle of nature itself – this has always been the most apt description of the specialities from Hauser Tradition.
They have their origin in rural distilleries, such as those once operated by the Hauser family in the Tyrolean Leukental. Generation after generation, the honest craft was passed on, and so every distillate still contains not only the best of nature, but above all a part of valuable history.
Hauser Tradition – The quintessence of the Tyrolean mountain world.
For more than 300 years, ripe fruits, berries and roots have been distilled into clear distillates in the local Alps in order to "capture the essence of the natural orchards and refine them into the finest schnapps". The origin of this tradition lies in small distilleries, such as that of the Johann Hauser family in the Tyrolean Leukental. Generation after generation, the art of distilling was passed on and the honest craft has been passionately celebrated for decades.
Inspired by the traditional customs and drinking cultures, an exquisite variety of the best of nature is now produced in Lustenau, Vorarlberg, according to "Hauser Tradition", which is characterised by its mild and wholesome nature. The use of state-of-the-art technology, coupled with the valuable experience and the fine touch of the master distiller, guarantees that the fruits are refined into outstanding schnapps in accordance with the Alpine tradition:
Clear as the pure breath of the Tyrolean mountain world, aromatic as the intoxicating scent of the blooming alpine meadow and just as unique as the miracle of nature itself – this has always been the most apt description of the specialities from Hauser Tradition.
