Suchard chocolate is made with sustainably grown cocoa: Cocoa Life is the global cocoa sustainability program of Mondelēz International. It is a major concern for Mondelēz that cocoa, as one of the most important ingredients, is produced in a good and sustainable way. Cocoa Life was therefore introduced in 2012, and a total of 1 billion US dollars will be invested in the expansion of the program by 2030 in order to secure the procurement of more sustainable cocoa and to develop an integrated approach that strives to combat the causes of systemic problems in the cocoa sector.
