Since 1826, fine, high-quality chocolate art has been offered under the name Suchard. The brand thus looks back on a long tradition and is one of the oldest chocolate brands in the world.
Suchard chocolate is made with sustainably grown cocoa: Cocoa Life is the global cocoa sustainability program of Mondelēz International. It is a major concern for Mondelēz that cocoa, as one of the most important ingredients, is produced in a good and sustainable way. Cocoa Life was therefore introduced in 2012, and by 2030 a total of 1 billion US dollars will be invested in expanding the program to secure the procurement of more sustainable cocoa and to develop an integrated approach that seeks to combat the causes of systemic problems in the cocoa sector.
