Oleovital Eye Ointment

Oleovital^® Eye Ointment provides long-lasting relief from dryness, irritation and mild irritation of the eye, especially

.

• in the case of environmental stress, e.g. due to air conditioning, wind or air pollution (e.g. cigarette smoke)
.
• for fatigue and strained vision, e.g. computer screens, microscopes or after long car journeys
.
• in case of mechanical stress, e.g. due to wearing contact lenses or due to diagnostic interventions on the eye.

The very soft and smooth consistency of Oleovital Eye Ointment makes it very easy to spread on the surface of the eye. It is also very well tolerated, especially due to the vitamin A it contains, a natural component of the tear film. The eyelids slide smoothly over the cornea and conjunctiva.

Dexpanthenol belongs to the B vitamins and is converted to pantothenic acid in the body. It increases the water binding capacity, is well absorbed by the skin and has nourishing properties.

Application

Oleovital® eye ointment is usually used 3 times a day for long-lasting improvement of the tear film and intensive protection of the eye surface. Application should be continuous for more than 30 days.
Screw off the protective cap, place the head slightly on the neck, pull the lower lid slightly away from the eye. Apply gentle pressure on the tube to insert a strand of ointment about 0.5 cm long into the conjunctival sac. Close your eyes slowly. Close the tube carefully after use.
Temporary blurred vision may occur after use, so do not drive or operate machinery until normal visual acuity is restored. It is therefore particularly recommended to apply the ointment in the evening before going to bed, so that it can develop its intensive, long-lasting effect on the irritated eye.
If several eye preparations are used, Oleovital® eye ointment should be administered last, after a sufficient time interval (approx. 30 min).

Oleovital® eye ointment should NOT be used:
while wearing contact lenses
in case of infections of the eye
in case of existing hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients

Note

Shelf life: two years / three months after opening
WITHOUT preservatives!
The tip of the tube should NOT touch the skin of the face or eye to avoid germs, infection or injury.
Avoid bending or rolling up the tube so as not to damage the tube.
Store at room temperature.
Be aware of the expiry date! Shelf life 3 months after opening!
Store out of reach of children.
After using Oleovital® eye ointment, blurred vision may occur temporarily, so do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery until normal visual acuity is restored.
