Oleovital Vitamin D3+K2 Oral Spray (1000IE D3 + 100 MCg K2)

Vitamin K2 influences bone formation and bone metabolism. It is involved in the formation of osteocalcin, activates the matrix GLA protein, thus supporting calcium utilisation and thereby contributing to the formation of stable bone substance.

According to the current state of science, it is not absolutely necessary to administer vitamin K2 in addition to vitamin D3, but the positive synergistic effect of both vitamins cannot be denied. 

A consultation with your doctor regarding the additional administration of vitamin K2 is recommended. Especially if you are taking blood-thinning medication, it is essential to consult your doctor beforehand, as vitamin K2 plays a role in blood clotting!

Vitamin K2  ≠ Vitamin K2

With vitamin K2 supplements, it is important that the vitamin K2 (menaquinone, MK for short) is contained in its highest-quality form for the body as MK7-all-trans, so that good bioavailability is ensured.

High amounts of vitamin K2 are often added to (cheap) preparations, but in a form that is less easily utilised (e.g. as MK4)

.

Vitamin K2-MK7 is obtained from natural sources (from the Japanese natto = fermented soybeans), in contrast to vitamin K2-MK4, which is produced synthetically.

Due to different binding in the blood, the majority of MK4 is excreted after just a few hours, while the high-quality MK7-all-trans form of vitamin K2 remains available in the body for up to 72 hours.

According to this, 60 µg of vitamin K2-MK7, for example, is better utilised in the body than 500 µg of vitamin K2-MK4.

When buying vitamin K2 supplements, you should therefore always look for the"MK7 all-trans" label!

Application

Shake well before use.
Daily spray directly into the mouth

1 spray (0.2 ml): 1000 IU vitamin D3 + 100 µg vitamin K2 (menaquinone MK7 all-trans)
20 ml = 100 sprays

Wait some time before swallowing to ensure good absorption of the vitamin through the oral mucosa.
Avoid eating and drinking when ingested.
Take regardless of the time of day.
