Description

Red wine 13.5% vol.

Dark violet, black currant, red pepper on the nose, complex on the palate, finely rounded by caramel tones, fine oak touch.

Father Johann Scheiblhofer already left his mark on the local red wine scene; and son Erich is following suit: the young winemaker has been running the winery since 1999 - already the first vintage of 2000 of his Zweigelt Prädium was an immediate state and national winner. No question, the conditions for viticulture here, around the Burgenland municipality of Andau, are perfect with excellent soils as well as the most hours of sunshine and highest temperature peaks in all of Austria.
