Your beer for classic enjoyment - the Egger Märzen 5% Vol. is a smooth, malty, multi-award-winning full-bodied beer. At the DLG Beer Test, it has already received the GOLD medal for the twelfth consecutive time (2010-2021). Märzen beer, by the way, is derived from the month of March. In the past, brewing beer in summer was forbidden due to the increased risk of fire. As a workaround, a slightly stronger beer was therefore brewed in March, which could be enjoyed until autumn. This practice also gave the beer its name.
