Weingut Mayer am Pfarrplatz, the epitome of Viennese Heurigen culture, has a centuries-old tradition in Heiligenstadt since 1683 in producing the finest Viennese wines. Vienna is the only metropolis in the world with significant wine-growing areas within its city limits, and its terroir is unique. The Vienna wine-growing region covers an area of approx. 640 hectares. Our village wines grow in the Grinzing, Hernals, and Wiener Nussberg vineyards. Our wines from the single vineyards Preussen and Langteufel are classified as Erste Lage.
