das boep Thyme Balm
The natural essential oils and medicinal plants in this balm provide soothing warmth during the cold season and can thus calm both the respiratory tract and coughing fits. At the same time, they nourish the skin and promote blood circulation. Thyme is known for its expectorant effect and facilitates coughing up mucus. Sage and eucalyptus have anti-inflammatory effects and can be soothing for sore throats.
The balm is ideally suited for children aged 3 and over and can be applied to the chest, back, or feet. It absorbs quickly without being sticky, leaving a pleasant, warming sensation on the skin. Incidentally, the balm can also be used as an oil compress or wrap. The pleasant scent of thyme, sage, and eucalyptus can help your child or you relieve cold symptoms - thus ensuring (hopefully) more relaxed nights. Also suitable for inhalation.
As an aromatherapy product with essential oils, this balm can cause allergic reactions in some people. Please observe the application tips!
The balm can be applied regularly to the chest, back, or soles of the feet until symptoms improve. It is particularly suitable for soothing aromatherapy before sleep.
For children under 3 years, the balm should be applied extremely sparingly, as allergic reactions to essential oils can occur. Please apply carefully in small amounts and test skin compatibility on a small skin area first.
The Thyme Balm is recommended by midwives for aromatherapy. Pregnant women can apply the balm twice daily to the chest or back. It can also be used during breastfeeding, but you should not apply it immediately before breastfeeding and only in small amounts, so that the essential oils do not irritate the baby.

When Dr. Michaela Hagemann became a mother, she was looking for suitable care products for her newborn daughter. The ingredients were to be naturally nourishing and the products free from synthetic fragrances, mineral oils, or parabens. Only natural cosmetics seemed to consistently implement this - but why did they often smell so much like herbal tea? In short, the young doctor decided to develop her own care series with the help of her brother Tilman and a smaller, renowned natural cosmetics manufacturer from the Allgäu – thus the baby oil project, or boep for short, was born.
The doctor carefully selected ingredients that she knew were suitable for sensitive baby skin. The project gained momentum: befriended mothers helped her choose the subtle scent, beautiful gift sets with high-quality organic textiles were created, and sustainable packaging was selected. Independent dermatologists confirmed the skin compatibility of the newly developed products as "very good". During the design of the logo and website, the baby oil project eventually became "das boep".
