Description
Pilsner 5.1% vol.
The best aroma hops from Tettnang and the Hallertau, local malt from summer barley and the purest spring water from the Upper Black Forest give each Rothaus Pils Tannenzäpfle its uniquely spicy and fresh taste.
In 1791, the Rothaus brewery was founded by the Benedictine monastery of St. Blasien at the "Zum Rothen Haus" inn, which has been on record since 1681. The location was favourably chosen, it offered sufficient water resources and, due to its position in the middle of large forests, enough wood for heating in the direct vicinity.
