Description
The Morellenfeuer cherry variety was created in the mid-20th century by crossing the Ostheimer Weichsel and the Frühesten der Mark. Since the Rhineland is particularly well suited to the cultivation of this variety, the sour cherries are sourced from small farmers in the Aachen region.
Thanks to their fine aroma and mild acidity, the sour cherries can be processed into a 100 percent pure juice.
Depending on the vintage, the acidity may vary.
