Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using DicloAkut Schmerzgel.
When used locally, the likelihood of systemic side effects is low compared to oral use. However, if DicloAkut Schmerzgel is used on relatively large areas of skin and over long periods of time, possible systemic side effects cannot be ruled out. Such use should therefore be avoided unless it is on medical advice (see also "What side effects are possible?").

  • DicloAkut Schmerzgel must not be taken!
  • Do not apply DicloAkut Schmerzgel to skin wounds or open injuries.
  • Eyes and mucous membranes must not come into contact with DicloAkut Schmerzgel.
  • The use of splints or bandages, which are commonly used for injuries such as sprains, is possible, but DicloAkut Schmerzgel should not be used under airtight dressings (e.g. made of plastic).
  • Discontinue treatment if you develop a rash after application.

Use of DicloAkut Schmerzgel together with other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or intend to take/use any other medicines.
With large-area external use, interactions cannot be ruled out with certainty. Since the absorption of the active ingredient into the circulation is extremely low, interactions with other medicines are very unlikely.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
