In 1870, the Scotsman James Taylor succeeded for the first time in cultivating tea in Ceylon, today's Sri Lanka. This is the beginning of the history of the world-famous Ceylon tea. Tea grows best in warm altitudes above 1,200 m with high humidity and sufficient rainfall. Slopes are ideal. This is where the best varieties are created, which we use for DR. KOTTAS Ceylon Gold.
Application
For the optimal aroma development, pour 1 filter bag per cup (125 ml) with boiling water, cover and let it steep for 3-5 minutes - depending on your individual preference - and enjoy the tea.
Note
The tea is particularly stimulating if you let it steep for about 3 minutes, as most of the caffeine is released. For the calming effect, let the tea steep for about 4 to 5 minutes.
Ingredients
Black tea from Ceylon
