The origin of Earl Grey is said to go back to an accident on the high seas, when a storm overturned a barrel of bergamot oil, which spilled over a load of tea.
Fortunately, because this is how our popular blend of black tea and bergamot aroma with an intense fragrance and tangy taste was created! When infused, the characteristic copper-colored cup unfolds.
Preparation: For 1 liter, use 5 - 6 teaspoons of loose tea (1 teaspoon = ~3.5g), pour over boiling water and let steep for 3 - 4 minutes. 100g of loose tea yields 30 cups (200ml) of tea enjoyment!
