This salt comes from the Punjab region (Pakistan) and is considered the purest, healthiest and most residue-free salt on earth. It is rich in minerals and nutrients, such as calcium, iron, magnesium and potassium. Its pink color is due to traces of iron oxide.
Despite its low sodium chloride content, which makes it particularly healthy, pink Himalayan salt has an intensely salty taste.
