Eucerin® ACTINIC CONTROL MD with SPF 100 is indicated for the prevention of actinic keratosis and non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) and for the accompanying therapy for actinic keratosis.* Patients who have an increased risk of developing actinic keratosis are people of phototype I or II who are chronically exposed to the sun, or people who have already been treated for actinic keratosis or are currently being treated.

Application

Please refer to the instructions for use for information on the recommended application amount.

• Apply only to clean and intact skin.
• Apply a sufficient amount to the affected areas every morning (2 mg/cm²).
• An insufficient amount significantly reduces the sun protection factor.
• When exposed to direct sunlight, reapply sunscreen every 2 hours, especially after swimming, sweating or drying with a towel, to maintain the original protection.
• Do not stay in the sun for too long, even when using a sunscreen product. Excessive sun exposure is a serious health hazard.
• Wear protective clothing and use sufficient sunscreen on unprotected areas of the body.
• Before applying cosmetic products (make-up, foundation, decorative cosmetics), please use Eucerin® ACTINIC CONTROL MD first and wait until the product has been completely absorbed before applying other products.
• Daily and regular use is necessary for optimal protection throughout the year.

Note

• Actinic keratosis is caused by permanent sun exposure. If you have ever had actinic keratosis, you should avoid direct sunlight.
• Allow the product to absorb completely and avoid direct contact with textiles and hard surfaces to prevent discoloration.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of eye contact, rinse eyes with lukewarm water. If symptoms persist, contact a doctor.

Contraindication:

• Do not apply to damaged, injured skin or open wounds.
• In patients undergoing pharmacological or surgical treatment for actinic keratosis, Eucerin® ACTINIC CONTROL MD should only be used once the lesions have healed and your doctor recommends its use.
• Information on the use of Eucerin® ACTINIC CONTROL MD for infants, children and pregnant or breastfeeding women is not available.
