Wiener Grant Hazelnut Coffee Bean Spirit 33% Vol. Alc.

The Wiener Haselnuss-Kaffeebohnen Spirituose WIENER GRANT is produced in a double distillation process on a wheat basis. Real hazelnuts and coffee beans are processed into a natural aroma and added to the distillate. Finally, the WIENER GRANT is reduced to a pleasant 33% volume drinking strength and "subtly sweetened".

The "Wiener Grant" seduces with the finest hazelnut and coffee aromas. Original Wiener Grant coffee beans are used in the process. The roasting was produced in cooperation with the coffee roastery Hawelka from the 1st Viennese district.

After a resting period of several weeks, it finally gets an irresistible taste.

As soon as the bottle is opened, the Viennese coffee house culture is in the air. When tasting, the intense nutty aroma is immediately noticeable.

The spirit becomes fuller-bodied due to the tart and spicy coffee aroma and the taste remains long after the first sip.

The story - from the idea to the brand

The basic idea came from one of the two founders - Mario. He has been working in the Viennese gastronomy & event scene for 20 years and has experienced a lot after numerous assignments behind the bar. As a passionate, trained bartender, he has always had a flair for good spirits. He has always served the guests with the original "Viennese charm", which is becoming increasingly rare today, whereby a grumpy waiter is still known in Vienna and beyond. Not only the Viennese charm or the grumpy waiter is known to a wide audience, but everything also merges with the Viennese Grant. In order to set a monument to Viennese charm, Viennese coffee house and pub culture, the idea came up to found their own spirits brand with the name Wiener Grant. After some deliberation, the Wiener Grant brand and the company Wiener Grant OG were founded together with his brother Dennis in 2020.

Self-statement of the owners

The Wiener Grant is not only a lifestyle but also describes an attitude towards life. This attitude towards life has meanwhile become a cult in our beautiful capital. In addition to his "goscherten" manner, the WG also has something charming. As a non-Viennese, it is often difficult to understand, but that is exactly what makes the Wiener Grant so special. We wanted to set a monument to this cult and above all to the charm behind it, as well as to the Viennese coffee house and pub culture with our Wiener Grant Spirituose and to transport the overall package with the brand name beyond Vienna. Another goal we have set ourselves is to make the Viennese version of the Caffè Corretto (which translated means nothing other than a "corrected coffee"), the "Corrected", a world cultural heritage at some point. Instead of being drunk with grappa as in Italy, it is simply drunk with our WG spirit. Even if the Wiener Grant often depresses the mood, it also has something socio-political, a resistance against everything that is "orsch".
