The Moët & Chandon style is characterised by radiant fruitiness, a seductive palate and elegant maturity.
RADIANT FRUITINESS
Throughout the production process, Moët & Chandon's wines are constantly protected from oxidation.
This non-oxidative preparation:
• preserves the character of the grapes
• has a positive effect on the wines' ageing potential
• maintains the grapes' original fruitiness
SEDUCTION PALATE
Malolactic fermentation softens the acidity. The systematic use of the Meunier grape provides a fleshy attack, while the long ageing on lees gives a finer bead and a velvety texture.
Moët & Chandon's Brut dosage is lower than is usual in Champagne. The wines are therefore characterised by a generous flavour. Fullness, smoothness and accessibility are other typical features.
ELEGANT MATURITY
Moët & Chandon champagnes are aged for an average of twice as long as required by law. This gives them complexity and depth. By interrupting the development at the right time, they acquire an engagingly fruity character. Patience is needed to allow time to shape the wine.
Tasting notes: Intense and round. The juicy, persistent intensity of red fruits: strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants. Fleshy, firm peaches. A fresh, subtle minty note.
Storage: Store lying down in a cool (10-15°C), dark place, protected from vibrations.
