Vertigoheel drops are a homeopathic combination drug. Such drugs are composed of various individual homeopathic remedies, whose drug profiles complement each other. Homeopathy is understood as a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic illnesses.

What should you consider before taking it?

WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING Vertigoheel ?

Vertigoheel must not be taken,

• if you are allergic to Conium maculatum, Ambra grisea, Petroleum rectificatum, Anamirta cocculus or any of the other ingredients of this drug listed in section 6.

Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Vertigoheel.

When taking homeopathic drugs, existing symptoms can temporarily worsen (initial reaction). Such reactions are mostly harmless. If the symptoms do not improve, the drug should be discontinued. After the initial reaction has subsided, the drug can be taken again. If the symptoms worsen again, the drug should be discontinued.
Any longer treatment with a homeopathic drug should be monitored by a doctor experienced in homeopathy, as undesired drug testing symptoms (new symptoms) can occur if the drug is not indicated.

Children under 2 years of age
The use of Vertigoheel in children under 2 years of age is not recommended, as there is not sufficient data available.

Taking Vertigoheel together with other drugs
No interactions with other drugs are known.

Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or intend to take/use any other drugs.

When taking Vertigoheel together with food and drink
In homeopathy, it is known that the effect of a homeopathic drug can be adversely affected by generally harmful factors in the lifestyle and by stimulants and luxury foods.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
There are no indications of a special risk for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Caution is advised when using during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this drug.

Ability to drive and operate machinery
Vertigoheel has no or a negligible influence on the ability to drive and operate machinery. Please note the alcohol content of 35% by volume.

Vertigoheel contains 35% by volume of alcohol
This drug contains 73.5 mg - 294 mg of alcohol per single dose (5 - 20 drops), 882 mg - 1176 mg of alcohol per maximum daily dose (60 - 80 drops) and must therefore not be given to alcoholics.
The alcohol content must be taken into account in pregnant or breastfeeding women as well as in children and patients with an increased risk due to liver disease or epilepsy.

How should the drug be taken?

HOW SHOULD Vertigoheel BE TAKEN?

Always take this drug exactly as described in this package insert or exactly as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is:

Adults
15 - 20 drops 3 times a day
In the acute phase, a maximum of 8 times a day, 10 drops every 15 minutes

Use in children and adolescents:
Children from 2 to 6 years of age take: 5 drops 3 times a day
Children from 6 to 12 years of age take: 7 drops 3 times a day
Adolescents from 12 years of age take: 15 - 20 drops 3 times a day
In the acute phase
Children from 2 to 6 years of age: a maximum of 8 times a day, 5 drops every 15 minutes
Children from 6 to 12 years of age: a maximum of 8 times a day, 7 drops every 15 minutes
Adolescents from 12 years of age: a maximum of 8 times a day, 10 drops every 15 minutes

When the symptoms improve, the frequency of use should be reduced.

Children under 2 years of age
The use of Vertigoheel in children under 2 years of age is not recommended, as there is not sufficient data available.

For oral use
The drops are taken with or without water before meals.

If you do not feel better or even feel worse after 7 days, contact your doctor.

If you have taken a larger amount of Vertigoheel than you should.No cases of overdose have been reported to date.

The alcohol content of 35% by volume must be noted.
If the entire contents of the bottle of 30 (100) ml are accidentally ingested, 8.4 (28) g of alcohol are ingested.
This can lead to alcohol poisoning, especially in small children.

If you forget to take Vertigoheel .
Do not take double the amount if you have forgotten to take the previous dose.

If you stop taking Vertigoheel ,
no symptoms will occur.

If you have any further questions about taking this drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

What side effects are possible?

Keep this drug out of the reach of children.
Store in the original packaging.

Do not use the drug after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and label (Use by). The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.

The shelf life is not limited by opening the container, provided that the container is closed again immediately after proper dosing.

Do not dispose of drugs in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the drug when you are no longer using it. You help to protect the environment.

- The other ingredients are: Ethanol (total alcohol content 35% by volume), purified water
