There's a better way, two friends said to themselves, scraped together a few thousand euros in start-up capital and decided in 2002 to found the fritz-kola project in the student dormitory in Hamburg-Othmarschen. Their mission: a new cola that is better than anything the big effervescent companies have to offer. No sooner said than done.
