Description
With regard to the main components, the content of sodium, hydrogen carbonate, potassium, sulphate and chloride ions, the mineral composition is modelled on the mineral composition of the nasal secretion.
This makes it well suited for moistening the nose in cases of dry mucous membranes and for regular rinsing treatments where the focus is on mechanical cleaning of the nose - such as in cases of hay fever or in patients chronically exposed to dust.
Nasal rinsing with Emser nasal rinsing salt can be carried out safely over a longer period of time.

- for pollen and house dust allergy
- for the prevention of colds
- for dry nose
- in case of heavy dust load
Application
Nasal rinsing solutions should be isotonic, i.e. adapted to the mineral content of the blood. For this purpose, a quantity of salt precisely dosed to the milligram must be dissolved in a certain amount of water. No problem with Emser nasal rinsing salt: the practical portion sachets are exactly 2.5 g for the 250 ml filling quantity of the Emser Nasal Shower Nasanita.
For acute or chronic inflammatory conditions of the nose, we recommend Emser salt in practical sachets of 2.95 g for 250 ml and for children 1.475 g for 125 ml.
