• If you are allergic to magnesium citrate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.

• in severe renal dysfunction (glomerular filtration capacity < 30 ml/min)
• in disorders of the conduction of excitation at the heart, which lead to a slow heartbeat (bradycardia)

1 lozenge contains 0.01 BE, a credit for fasting or diabetes diets is not necessary under the stated dosage.

Children and adolescents

Taking Magnesium Diasporal - Lozenges together with others. Medicines
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken/used or intend to take/use any other medicines.

You should avoid taking them at the same time as other medicines if possible. Keep a distance of 2-3 hours between taking Magnesium Diasporal - Lozenges and your other medicines to prevent possible interactions.
- In the case of fluorides and tetracyclines, a time interval of 2-3 hours must be strictly observed.
- Antibacterial agents (aminoglycoside antibiotics), dehydrating agents (thiazides, furosemide) and agents that inhibit gastric acid production (omeprazole, pantoprazole).ure production (omeprazole, pantoprazole) as well as the active substances cisplatin, cyclosporin A, foscarnet, cetuximab and erlotinib, pentamidine, rapamycin and amphotericin B can cause a magnesium deficiency. Therefore, ask your doctor if you need to adjust your daily dosage accordingly.

Magnesium Diasporal - lozenges can be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding without concern. Based on long-term experience, no effects on male and female fertility are expected.

Driving ability and ability to operate machinery.
Magnesium Diasporal - Lozenges have no or negligible effect on the ability to drive and operate machinery.

Kidney dysfunction
Magnesium must not be taken if kidney function is severely impaired.

The recommended dose is
for adults: 1 lozenge 3-4 times daily.
No experience is available on the use in children and adolescents.

Magnesium Diasporal - lozenges are best sucked before meals. However, they can also be chewed.

than you should
No side effects are expected if kidney function is intact. Too much magnesium supplied is excreted by the kidneys.
If you have taken a larger amount of this medicine than you should, or if someone has accidentally taken this medicine when treatment is not indicated (see section 2), please contact a doctor or pharmacist for risk assessment and advice.

• The active ingredient is: magnesium citrate. 1 tablet contains 610 mg magnesium citrate (anhydrous) corresponding to 98.6 mg magnesium (4 mmol, 8 mval).
• The other ingredients are: Sucrose, saccharin sodium, citric acid, cellulose powder, calcium stearate, xanthan gum, orange flavouring, purified water.
