This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product registered exclusively on the basis of long-standing use in the above-mentioned indication.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 4 weeks, consult your doctor.

What should you pay attention to before taking it?
What you should be aware of before taking Crataegutt?
Crataegutt must not be taken,
- if you are allergic to hawthorn or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.
Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Crataegutt.
If you experience pain in the heart area that may radiate to the arms, upper abdomen or neck area, or if you have difficulty breathing or if water accumulates in the legs, seek medical advice immediately.
Children and adolescents:
Crataegutt is not intended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Taking Crataegutt with other medicines
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or are planning to take/use any other medicines.
No interactions are known.
Taking Crataegutt with food and drink
Taking food and drink does not affect the effectiveness of the medicine.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Since insufficient data are available, use during pregnancy and breast-feeding cannot be recommended.
Trafficability and ability to operate machinery
No studies have been conducted on the effects on trafficability and the operation of machinery.
Crataegutt has no or negligible effect on the ability to drive and operate machinery.
Please note the alcohol content of 37 wt.%.
Crataegutt contains alcohol
This medicinal product contains 37% by weight of ethanol.% ethanol (alcohol), i.e. up to 285 mg per dose (20 drops), corresponding to 7.2 ml beer, 3 ml wine per dose.
There is a health risk for patients suffering from alcoholism. The alcohol content should be taken into account in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in children and patients at increased risk due to liver disease or epilepsy.
How should the medicine be taken?
How should Crataegutt be taken?
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
The recommended dose is:
Adults:
3 times daily 20 drops
A measuring cup is added to the 250 ml pack to help with dosing. Here: 0.8 ml 3 times a day.
Use in children and adolescents
Crataegutt is not intended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
To be taken, Undiluted or diluted with a little water (approx. 50 ml).
If you do not feel better or even worse after 4 weeks, contact your doctor.
If you have taken a larger amount of Crataegutt than you shouldSymptoms of overdose have not been reported so far. In case of extreme overdose, consult a doctor.
The alcohol content of 37 wt.% should be noted.
If the entire contents of the bottle of 50 ml (100 ml, 250 ml) are accidentally ingested, 17.6 g (35.3 g, 88.2 g) of alcohol will be absorbed.
This can lead to alcohol poisoning, especially in young children.
If you forget to take Crataegutt
Do not take twice the amount if you have forgotten to take it before.
If you stop taking Crataegutt
your symptoms may return.
If you have any further questions about taking this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

How to store Crataegutt?
Store in the original packaging.
Do not store above 25°C after first opening.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the
expiry date (use by:) which is stated on the label and outer carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
Do not use for more than 6 months after first opening the container.
Do not dispose of this medicinal product in waste water or household waste. Ask your
pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you stop using it. In doing so, they contribute to the protection of the environment.

What Crataegutt contains
The active substance is a liquid extract of hawthorn.
100 g contain 75 g liquid extract of hawthorn fruit (Crataegi fructus) and hawthorn leaves with flowers (Crataegi folium cum flore) in a ratio of 30:1, drug extract ratio (DEV) 1:1.4 - 1.7 (extractant: ethanol 45 wt.-%)
1 ml = 0.96 g
0.8 ml = 0.77 g corresponds to approx. 20 drops
Alcohol content: approx. 37 wt.% ethanol.
The other ingredients are: Ethanol, purified water
What Crataegutt looks like and contents of the pack
Crataegutt is a reddish-brown, clear solution and is available in packs of 50 ml, 100 ml and 250 ml solution.
The 250 ml bottle contains a measuring cup with graduation 0.8 ml (corresponds to single dose) as a dosing aid.
Herbal extracts may tend to become cloudy after a longer period of time, but this does not affect the effectiveness.
Crataegutt is a natural product, so slight variations in colour and taste may occur.
