Pantogar is a hair and nail therapeutic for oral use and supplies the hair and nails with the building substances calcium-D-pantothenate and the amino acid L-cystine via the bloodstream.

WHAT ARE PANTOGAR - CAPSULES AND WHAT ARE THEY USED FOR?

Pantogar is a hair and nail therapeutic agent for ingestion and supplies the hair
and nails via the bloodstream with the building substances calcium-D-pantothenate and the amino acid L-cystine.

Application areas:
- For structural improvement of stressed, thin, inelastic, brittle and dull-looking hair

- For supportive treatment of localised and diffuse hair loss, hair growth disorders and nail growth disorders.

- For the supportive treatment of localised and diffuse hair loss, hair growth disorders and nail growth disorders (brittle, splintering and inelastic nails)

Pantogar is not indicated in cases of scarring or hormone-induced hair loss (also
male baldness).

Pantogar must not be taken,
if you are hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients listed in section 6. Other ingredients listed in section 6.

Taking Pantogar capsules with other medicines

No interactions with other medicines are known so far.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding

Be sure to ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. Pantogar capsules should not be taken during pregnancy and lactation due to the lack of data.

Driving and ability to operate machinery

Pantogar capsules have no or negligible effect on the ability to drive or to operate machinery.

How should the medicine be taken?

How to take Pantogar?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults take 1 capsule 3 times a day with the main meals, unchewed, with some liquid.As hair formation takes place relatively slowly, regular intake of Pantogar capsules in the prescribed dosage over a period of 3 to 6 months is important in order to achieve success in the treatment. Treatment may be continued or repeated if necessary.

Use in children and adolescents
Pantogar is not recommended for use in children and adolescents due to lack of sufficient data.

If you have taken a larger amount of Pantogar Capsules than you should
Poisoning with Pantogar - Capsules is not known and is not to be expected even in the case of overdose.

If you forget to take Pantogar Capsules
Do not take twice the amount if you have forgotten to take it before.

How to store Pantogar capsules?

Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

Do not store above 25°C.
Store in the original packaging to protect the contents from light.

You must not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the outer carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated.

Do not dispose of medicines in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you stop using it. In doing so, they contribute to the protection of the environment.

What Pantogar contains

- The active ingredients are:
60 mg calcium D-pantothenate and 220 mg L-cystine

- The other ingredients are:
cellulose, povidone, talc, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, gelatine, colouring agents titanium dioxide (E171) and iron oxide (E 172).

What Pantogar capsules look like and contents of the pack

Intransparent, bicoloured (ivory/white opaque), oblong capsules.

Pantogar is packaged in PVC aluminium blister packs of 30, 90, 300 and 2 x 150 (bundle pack) capsules.
Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
