CHX plus Nature

Dentistry has been prescribing chlorhexidine for almost seventy years, and for good reasons: It works. Perio Plus+ contains CHX digluconate and natural bioflavonoids extracted from the bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara): CITROX®.

Effect: even stronger

The bioflavonoids of CITROX® have a strong antibacterial effect themselves. And in combination with CHX, CITROX® even increases the antibacterial effect of CHX. With CITROX® and CHX digluconate, Perio Plus+ has the best prerequisites for a particularly strong effect.

CITROX® comes directly from nature: it is a natural bioflavonoid extract from the bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara) and is powerful against bacteria, even viruses and fungi. To ensure that it adheres well to the teeth, gums and oral mucosa for a long-term effect, it is combined with the amino acid polylysine, which is also natural: to form the CITROX®/P complex.

Good taste, no irritation

Perio Plus+ tastes good: thanks to CITROX® and the flavour developed by Givaudan's flavour professionals. What's more, Perio Plus+ does not irritate the sense of taste: whether it's orange juice or pizza, everything tastes the way it should.

Tips against discolouration

.

Derog tobacco, coffee, black and green tea, red wine, berries, curry, saffron during therapy. This keeps discolouration to a minimum. Clean well with a toothbrush, possibly use a whitening toothpaste such as our "Black Is White" or the BE YOU. The discolouration can be easily removed by dental professionals.

Application

• Rinse undiluted 10 ml for 60 seconds

• Preoperative: directly before the operation.
• Post-operatively and for subsequent days: in the morning and in the evening, for 3 to 7 days.
• Notes: For oral use only. Do not swallow.

Use PerioPlus or other CHX rinses only on the recommendation of your dentist. Normally you don't need this product, toothbrush and interdental brush are enough. For use, follow the instructions of your dental professional.
