Mirfulan® is a wound and healing ointment. Due to the amount of vitamin A contained in cod liver oil
injuries to the skin are favourably influenced. The combination of active ingredients accelerates the
Healing process of the skin and promotes the formation of young, vascular tissue.
Mirfulan® is used for the general treatment of wounds, for the treatment of non-infected skin damage
such as minor burns, for bedsores, after radiotherapy, for stump care in the case of
Prosthesis wearers, used for soreness under nappies.
Application
Apply Mirfulan®, as needed, once or several times a day about ½ - 1 millimetre thick to the skin areas to be
treated and spread evenly.
The duration of use depends on the severity and duration of the disease.
Note
1 g ointment corresponds to 1000 I.U. vitamin A and 200 I.U. vitamin D3.
Ingredients
100 g ointment contains 10 g cod liver oil enriched with vitamins A and D, 10 g zinc oxide, 5 g Extr.
Hamamelidis, 1 g urea.
The other ingredients are:
White vaseline, lanolin alcohol ointment, thin paraffin, glycerol monostearate (Imwitor
900), 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol-L(+)-6-0-palmitoylascorbic acid-citric acid 1H2O
Glycerol monostearate-propylene glycol (Oxynex 2004), Purified water.
