What should you be aware of before taking Alpinamed Passelyt Soothing Drops?

Alpinamed Passelyt Calming Drops must not be taken
- if you are allergic to passionflower herb or any of the other ingredients of Alpinamed Passelyt Calming Drops mentioned in section 6. Other ingredients of Alpinamed Passelyt Soothing Drops mentioned in section 6.

Warnings and precautions

Children
Due to a lack of data, use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended.

Taking Alpinamed Passelyt Sedative Drops with other medicines
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using any other medicines recently or if you are planning to take/use any other medicines.
Alpinamed Passelyt Sedative Drops may increase the effect of sleeping pills or sedatives. Alpinamed Passelyt Sedative Drops should only be taken at the same time as synthetic sedatives on the express instructions of a doctor.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

As there are insufficient data available, the use of Alpinamed Passelyt Sedative Drops is not recommended during pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Driving and operating machinery

Caution: This medicinal product may impair the ability to react and drive.


Alpinamed Passelyt Sedative Drops contain alcohol
This medicinal product contains 42.5% (v/v) ethanol (alcohol), i.e. up to 820 mg per drop.This means up to 820 mg per single dose, corresponding to 20 ml beer or 8.2 ml wine.
This poses a health risk for patients suffering from alcoholism. The alcohol content should be considered in patients at increased risk due to liver disease or epilepsy.

How should the medicine be taken?

How to take Alpinamed Passelyt Sedative Drops?

Always take Alpinamed Passelyt Sedative Drops exactly as described in this leaflet or as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: 40 drops 3 times a day

Use in children under 12 years of age:
Due to insufficient data, use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended.

How to use:
To be taken
Before or at the beginning of a meal, undiluted or with a little water.
Shake well before use

If you do not feel better or even worse after 2 weeks, contact your doctor.If you have taken a larger amount of Alpinamed Passelyt Sedative Drops than you should
No cases of overdose have been reported.

If you forget to take Alpinamed Passelyt Sedative Drops
Do not take a double dose if you have forgotten to take the previous dose, but continue with the next dose of Alpinamed Passelyt Sedative Drops as usual.

Do not store above 25 °C.

Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

Herbal medicinal products may occasionally become cloudy, especially with fluctuations in temperature. These do not impair the effect of Alpinamed Passelyt calming drops. Shake well before use.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date (use by) which is stated on the container and outer carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated.
Burns for 6 months after first opening.

Do not dispose of this medicinal product in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you no longer need it. This measure helps to protect the environment.
