The active ingredients humic acid and salicylic acid contained in Humal Partial Bath promote local blood circulation, which can favourably influence muscular tension and chronic pain in progressive joint disorders.
Humic acids are traditionally used in bath therapy.
What should you pay attention to before taking it?
What do you need to know before using Humal Partial Bath?
Humal Partial Bath must not be used
- In case of hypersensitivity to humic acid, salicylic acid or one of the other ingredients.
- In febrile and acute inflammatory diseases .
- For large-area eczema (skin rash)
- For tuberculosis
- In severe cardiovascular diseases .
- For high blood pressure and bleeding.
- In the last trimester
- During the first 6 - 8 weeks after birth .

Patients with poor circulation should not choose the bath temperature too high and the bath duration too long. If signs of poor circulation appear, stop the bath and choose a lower bathing temperature and/or shorter bathing time for the next bathing session.
The indicated dosage must be strictly adhered to, as too concentrated a bath can lead to skin damage and undesirable effects on the body.
Do not bring into the eyes.
When using Humal Partial Bath with other medicinal products.
In the indicated dosage, no interactions with other medicinal products are to be expected. Humal Partial Bath should not be mixed with other bath additives because of possible undesirable chemical reactions.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Be sure to ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using any medicines.
Do not use in the last three months of pregnancy (third trimester)!
As over-warm baths can be risky, especially in late pregnancy, any use during pregnancy should be preceded by a consultation with the gynaecologist.
During the puerperium (the first 6-8 weeks after birth), the use of a sitz bath is not considered; there are no restrictions for the rest of the breastfeeding period.

How should the medicine be taken?
How to use Humal Partial Bath?
Always use Humal Partial Bath exactly as your doctor has told you. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
Type of application
For external use after dissolving in the bath water.
Humal partial bath is sprinkled into the bath water just above the water surface and brought to solution by brief stirring. Bath temperature approx. 38°C; if tolerated, also somewhat higher. Bath duration: 20-25 minutes. Any sweating should not be stopped as it is valuable for the treatment. Do not rinse afterwards. Humal Partial Bath is harmless to laundry

For partial or sitz baths with approx. 50 l of water; 1 sachet of 12 g. One bath each on the first two days; then every 2nd day is kept bath-free. After the bath, keep the body warm.
Dosage for small baths: 1 level coffee spoon (3 g) to approx. 12 l water. After the micro-bath, keep the body part warm. Micro baths can also be used 2 times a day.
If you have used a larger amount of Humal Partial Bath than you should:
No cases of overdose have been reported. Skin burns or other side effects of salicylic acid (dizziness, vomiting, ringing in the ears, short deepened breathing) are not to be expected if the specified dosage is followed.

Like all medicines, Humal Partial Bath can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if any of the listed
side effects gets serious or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet.
In rare cases (less than 1 in 1,000 but more than 1 in 10,000 people treated), sneezing fits, nasal drip and asthma attack may be triggered, especially in asthma sufferers.
Allergic skin reactions (vesicles, rash) are possible.
The frequency of occurrence is not known.
If side effects occur, stop the treatment immediately.
Special instructions for storage
How to store Humal Partial Bath?
Do not store above 25 °C.
Store in the original packaging to protect the contents from moisture.
Store medicinal product out of reach of children.
You must not use the medicinal product after the expiry date which is stated on the outer carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
