The vineyard in the Loire Valley is the most extensive in France. It extends over more than 1000 km. As the name suggests, the 70.000 hectares on which Loire wines are produced are concentrated almost exclusively on the Loire and its tributaries. The vineyard, protected between the south of Brittany and the south-west, crosses the Massif Central, Auvergne, the centre and north of Poitou-Charentes, among others.
