Zweigelt provides the cherry fruit here, Merlot gives the "roundness" and the pressure, Blaufränkisch the expression and the spice and Rösler intensifies the colour. This red wine from organic grapes is wonderfully balanced and offers uncomplicated drinking pleasure on many occasions.

In 1927, Johann Nittnaus, the grandfather of the current farm owner, built the estate at Untere Hauptstraße 49, where the farm is still located today. In 1985, Anita and Hans Nittnaus took over their parents' farm and began to convert and expand the vineyard area. The philosophy of the farm can be summed up in one sentence: natural, terroir-based viticulture at the highest level of quality. Fertilisation is targeted according to soil analyses and can be reduced to a minimum due to the low yields. The expenditure and selection of plant protection products are also based on both ecological and economic criteria.
