1 Cheese Fondue for 4 people

Ingredients

  • Gruyere
  • Emmentaler
  • 1 clove of garlic (for aroma)
  • Dry white wine
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • A shot of fruit brandy (if you want it fancy)
  • Bread
  • Vegetables of your choice
  • Potatoes

Preparation

    Heat the wine, but do not boil!

    Rub the pot with garlic.

    Gradually add the cheese – stir, stir, stir!

    Mix cornstarch with lemon juice, add to the pot.

    Season with nutmeg (and kirsch).
