The 100% Arabica and certified organic Tunki comes from the Cooperative Cecovasa in Peru. At a cultivation altitude of 1,200-1,800m, the coffee plants can mature slowly and thus develop a wonderful, complex flavour profile. A full body paired with a nutty, chocolaty note and fresh, floral acidity deliver a perfect espresso or a great base for a creamy cappuccino.

About the producer:
Good coffee takes time - the intensive search for the right growing regions, the perfect bean, reliable coffee farmers and gentle transport. The coffee must be perfect in terms of taste, roast profile and aroma in order to develop the desired unique note. Attention, perseverance and patience for every crucial detail. Only if you put passion before profit and also give the coffee its necessary maturing time and time in the roasting drum does it become the taste experience that "RÖSTRAUM" stands for.
In 2012, we started roasting coffee. The first two years exclusively for us and selected friends. After we had roasted and tasted over 300 different beans, we dared to take the step of also offering the coffee to professional partners.
In 2015, we started trading directly with selected coffee farmers or their friends. The demand is great, the assortment grew and more and more Röstraum friends also wanted the coffee for home.
