For whom is OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Skin Bath suitable?

Our skin is a very large and complex organ: every square centimeter is home to up to a million bacteria, fungi, and mites. The beneficial microorganisms together form our skin microbiome and are extremely important for the barrier function and immune system of our skin.

Various skin conditions such as neurodermatitis are often associated with a change in the skin microbiome, where the natural diversity of microorganisms on the skin is disturbed. This makes it easier for harmful skin germs like Staphylococcus aureus to spread. This can lead to a further intensification of neurodermatitis symptoms such as dry skin and severe itching.

OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Skin Bath can counteract this and noticeably improve the stressed condition of the skin through targeted improvement of the skin microbiome.

 

Application

In the acute phase: Treat the affected skin areas in a partial bath once daily for 10 minutes for 14 days. For this, stir 2.5 g (= 1 measuring spoon) of powder per liter of water. A full bath is also possible for small children.

For basic care: If needed, treat the affected skin areas in a partial bath 1 to 2 times per week for 10 minutes. For this, stir 2.5 g (= 1 measuring spoon) of powder per liter of water. A full bath is also possible for small children.

If the skin area is not suitable for a partial bath, you can soak a clean cloth, a soft washcloth, or a small towel with the solution and apply it to the affected area.

After application: Let the skin air dry and do not rinse off the solution. We recommend moisturizing the skin with an active ingredient-free basic care product no earlier than 1 hour after application – however, OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment can be applied directly after the skin bath. We recommend showering no earlier than 8 hours, otherwise the active probiotic bacteria contained will be washed off and their effect weakened.

Important note: Also suitable as accompanying therapy, combinable with all common anti-inflammatory topical therapeutics. Open the lid carefully so that the powder does not get into the eyes or spread uncontrollably.
