VILLA ROSA – Bardolino Classico DOC
Veneto, Italy | Classic, light red wine from Lake Garda
Origin & Terroir
The Bardolino Classico DOC comes from the traditional area on the eastern shore of Lake Garda in the Veneto region. The "Classico" area stands for particularly high-quality sites with calcareous morainic soils and a moderate lake climate – perfect conditions for fragrant, elegant red wines with fine fruit and moderate alcohol content.
Grape Varieties & Vinification
The cuvée is classically composed of:
65 % Corvina – for fruit, colour, and body
25 % Rondinella – brings freshness and floral notes
10 % other red grape varieties – harmoniously round off the profile
Vinification:
Gentle pressing of the grapes
5–6 days of maceration at controlled temperature (18–20 °C)
Ageing in stainless steel tanks, thermo-conditioned
Sterile cold bottling to preserve freshness and lightness
Sensory Profile
Colour: Light, brilliant ruby red
Aroma: Vinous, delicate and fragrant, with red berry fruits and a fine floral note
