- if you are allergic to gentian root, primrose flowers, garden sorrel herb, elderflowers, vervain or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.

As there is insufficient data and due to the alcohol content, use in children under 2 years of age cannot be recommended.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

As there is insufficient data and due to the alcohol content, taking during pregnancy and breast-feeding cannot be recommended.

Driving and using machines

No studies on the effects on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed.

Sinupret Drops contain 19% (V/V) ethanol (alcohol).

This is 450 mg per 50 drops, corresponding to 11 ml of beer or 5 ml of wine. There is a health risk for patients suffering from alcoholism and should be taken into account for pregnant women or breast-feeding women as well as for children and patients with an increased risk due to liver disease or epilepsy.

Use in children

As there is insufficient data and due to the alcohol content, use in children under 2 years of age cannot be recommended.

Sinupret Drops can be taken, if necessary - e.g. to cover up the bitter taste for children

If the symptoms worsen or persist for more than 7 days, a doctor must be consulted.

If you have taken more Sinupret Drops than you should

An overdose can lead to stomach upset, vomiting or diarrhoea.

What Sinupret Drops contain

- The active ingredients are:
Gentian root, primrose flower with calyx, garden sorrel herb, elderflower, vervain.

100 g Sinupret Drops contain 29 g liquid extract from a mixture of gentian root (Gentianae radix 0.2 g), primrose flower with calyx (Primulae flos cum calycibus 0.6 g), garden sorrel herb (Rumicis herba 0.6 g), elderflower (Sambuci flos 0.6 g) and vervain (Verbenae herba 0.6 g) in the ratio 1:3:3:3:3, drug-extract ratio 1:11, extraction agent ethanol 59% V/V.

1 ml = 0.98 g = approx. 17 drops

- The other ingredients are:
19% (V/V) ethanol (alcohol), purified water

Sinupret Drops (drops for oral administration, solution) are a yellow-brown, clear solution with a smell of gentian and primrose and an aromatic, bitter taste.

Sinupret Drops are available in brown glass bottles with screw caps and vertical droppers in pack sizes of 50 ml and 100 ml solution.
