Essential Oil Bergamot

A light greenish-yellow oil, with fresh sweet-fruity, slightly spicy-balsamic undertones. Slightly brownish as it matures. Blends well with other Essential Oils, such as Lavender or Geranium.

Application

Wide range of applications for mouth, skin and respiratory care. For skin irritations, it has a soothing and caring effect at the same time. Bergamot has a positive effect on irritations of the oral mucosa and bad breath. The fragrance has a refreshing and restorative effect on the entire body. Stress-related indisposition or even dejection and anxiety give way to a positive and optimistic mood. It is used extensively as a fragrance in cosmetics, but also in food and beverages, especially in Earl Grey tea". Note: Some components of the oil have a phototoxic effect. Otherwise non-toxic and hardly irritating.
