Gastricumeel is a homeopathic combination medicine. Such medicines are composed of different homeopathic single remedies whose drug pictures complement each other. Homeopathy is understood as a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic diseases.

Application:
The application areas are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. These include stomach pain, heartburn and flatulence.

What should you consider before taking?

What should you be aware of before taking Gastricumeel?

Gastricumeel must not be taken
if you are allergic to Argentum nitricum, Acidum arsenicosum, Pulsatilla pratensis, Strychnos nux vomica, Carbo vegetabilis, Stibium sulphuratum nigrum or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.

Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Gastricumeel.

If the symptoms persist for more than 7 days despite treatment or if you feel seriously ill, medical advice is urgently required.
When taking homeopathic medicines, the existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial reaction). The medicine must then be discontinued. After the initial reaction has subsided, the medicine can be taken again. If the symptoms worsen again, the medicine must be discontinued.
Any prolonged treatment with a homeopathic medicine should be checked by a doctor experienced in homeopathy, as unwanted medicine test symptoms (new symptoms) may occur if the medicine is not taken as indicated.

Children
The use of Gastricumeel in children under 2 years of age is not recommended as insufficient data are available.

How to take the medicine?

HOW TO TAKE Gastricumeel?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.The recommended dose is:

Adults aged 18 years and over take 1 tablet 3 times a day
In an acute condition: initially every 15 minutes max. 8 times daily 1 tablet

Use in children and adolescents
Children from 2 - 6 years take: 1-2 times daily 1 tablet
Children from 6 - 12 years take: 2 times daily 1 tablet
Adolescents from 12 years take: 3 times daily 1 tablet
In acute condition take
Children from 2 - 6 years: initially every 15 minutes max. 6 times daily1 tablet
Children 6 - 12 years: initially every 15 minutes max. 8 times daily1 tablet
Young people 12 years and over: initially every 15 minutes max. 8 times daily1 tablet

Take less frequently if symptoms subside.

Children under 2 years
The use of Gastricumeel in children under 2 years of age is not recommended as there is insufficient data available.

Dissolve the tablets slowly under the tongue. Take before meals.
For children under 6 years, crush the tablets with a spoon, add some liquid (approx. 50 ml water or unsweetened tea) and stir until the tablet is dissolved.

The duration of use depends on the presenting clinical picture. If there is no improvement within a week or if the symptoms worsen, you should consult a doctor.

If you have taken a larger amount of Gastricumeel than you should.No cases of overdose have been reported so far.

If you have forgotten to take Gastricumeel.
Do not take twice the amount if you have forgotten to take it before.

If you stop taking Gastricumeel,
no symptoms will occur.
