About the breed:
Mangalitza is a breed of pig which has its origins in Hungary origin. They are woolly pigs, which they are called because of their dense, woolly bristles. Characteristic is also the thick fat layer of the animals, which can be up to 20cm on the back. This protects the animals from the cold in winter in the wild. The fat of Mangalitza pigs&.nbsp;has a high proportion of omega-3 fatty acids.
