Spring baking

Do you love the smell of freshly baked cake as much as we do? At the beginning of spring, we thought we would spoil our colleagues and bake something delicious. We had great support from Carolin and Vincent, the children of our buyer Carlos (maybe you know Carlos from our apple and mushroom video).

Gluten-Free Oatmeal Cookies
Vincent has coeliac disease and is only allowed to eat a gluten-free diet. So that he can snack too, we have made gluten-free oat biscuits, which are really quite simple and super delicious - try them for yourself!

180 g vegetable margarine
130 g icing sugar
2 tsp vanilla sugar
1 pinch of salt
150 g grated hazelnuts (variable)
80 g gluten-free flour
175 g gluten-free rolled oats
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat (or fan oven: 160 degrees)
First mix the margarine, icing sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until creamy. Stir the ground nuts together with the flour and oat flakes into the fat-sugar cream. Form balls with your hands and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Make sure that the balls are not too close together so that they don t come together during baking.
