<p>Delicious burger recipes for a BBQ</p>

Finally summer - perfect weather for a barbecue! We'll show you how you can quickly and easily prepare delicious burgers. There is something for every taste: classic with meat, vegetarian with sweet potato, vegan with beans & millet and, for those who like to experiment, an insect burger.

<p>Meat burger with whiskey cocktail sauce</p>

This burger has all the components of an American classic: a juicy meat patty, spicy onion rings, crunchy lettuce, pickles and ripe tomatoes. In addition, typical sauces and dressings with original Tennessee whiskey. A treat for every burger fan.

FOR 4 SERVINGS

500 g minced beef

1 egg yolk

1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce (Worcester Sauce)

2 teaspoons of salt

Pepper

Oil for frying

Lettuce heart

100 g cherry tomatoes

Red onion

4 Staud's pickled cucumbers

 

WHISKEY COCKTAIL SAUCE

4 egg yolks

200 ml corn oil

100 g Heinz ketchup

3 tbsp Jack Daniels whiskey

Salt

Black pepper

BURGER PATTIES

Mix all ingredients briefly and loosely, do not knead too vigorously. Gently shape the mixture into burgers. Shape the burger patties as big as the burger buns and press them flat. Fry on the grill or in a pan with oil over medium heat for 4 minutes on each side.

 

WHISKEY COCKTAIL SAUCE

Mix the egg yolks with the whiskey. Gradually pour in the oil and continue to stir into a mayonnaise. Mix the mayonnaise with the ketchup, alcohol, salt and pepper. To taste.

 

SERVE

With lettuce leaf, tomato slices, pickles and red onion slices. Add the warm patty, coat with cocktail sauce and eat immediately.
