About the producer:

We are a small coffee roasting company from St. Pölten and have specialised in processing Specialty Coffee over the years. This means we only roast coffees that are of a particularly high quality and achieve at least 80 points out of 100 according to the international standard. Another important point is our contact with the producers. We source our coffees as directly as possible, in the best case we know the coffee farmers personally. Time permitting, we also travel to the countries of origin. For some of our coffees, we are certified organic and Fairtrade.

We love really good coffee and want to give our customers an understanding of the diversity of coffees and, above all, the work that goes on in the countries of origin. Coffee is a fruit similar to a cherry and very versatile in taste, carrying myriad flavours and natural sweetness. That's why we roast our coffees lighter, so as not to mask them with bitterness and roasted flavours. This modern, but also gentle roasting technique makes the coffee taste particularly aromatic, creating complex flavours and fewer acids that attack the stomach.
FELIX KAFFEE was founded in 2012 by Felix Teiretzbacher - simply out of the desire to roast coffee himself for his Cafe Bar Cimbalino in Krems (now sold). He prefers to drink all coffees, as long as you can taste the terroir!

We are particularly proud that Felix won the first Austrian Roasting Championship in October 2019 and was able to gain further experience at the World Roasting Championship in Taipei.
