Pot Still (Irish Whiskey, 43%)
Single malt, Irish Whiskey that is distilled in a traditional pot still (copper kettle), matured for three years in bourbon barrels and then for one year in virgin Irish oak barrels. The result is a malty, sweet whiskey; soft, warm and buttery with a pot still typical malt and spice aroma. Each bottle can be traced back to the tree, including a video message.
Serving recommendation: neat at room temperature
About the brand:
Glendalough (Irish for "The Valley of the Two Lakes") is a craft distillery in the Wicklow Mountains south of Dublin. Following the example of St. Kevin, whose image can be seen on every bottle, "stand apart" has been defined as the brand's core. This is expressed in the bottle design, as well as in the use of hand-picked botanicals for the gin and special barrels for the maturation of the whiskeys.
Storage conditions: Cool and protected from light
