Cocchi Americano Bianco 16,5% Alc.
Cocchi Americano is a vermouth that was created in 1891 by Giulio Cocchi and has been continuously produced since then according to the original recipe. The term Americano comes from two facts, the first to make the alcohol more bitter with herbs and the second, which states that Americans like to enjoy vermouth with ice and soda. In Asti, Cocchi Americano is considered the aperitif par excellence. The rooster is the logo created in the 1930s to indicate its aperitif function (it awakens the appetite) and the rooster as a symbol of the city of Asti.
Tasting notes
The white Americano is made with white wine from Piedmont and refined with the addition of sugar, herbs and spices such as Artemisia, Cinchona, bitter orange peel and elderflowers, for an elegant and fresh taste.
